about

Recorded in Scott's basement, St. Louis, MO, 11/11/2012.

A Shure SM57 microphone was used to record everything.

To record Scott's drums, we pointed the microphone at the wall next to him.

Gerald played the Youthblaster for both rhythm and lead guitar parts. The microphone was placed slightly off-axis of a cranked silverface Fender Vibro Champ. The rhythm guitar had no effects, the lead guitar used a Black Cat OD-Fuzz pedal on the fuzz channel.

Vocal was recorded in one take.

Mastered by Ryan Albritton at R&R Labs, St. Louis, MO.

lyrics

What if Gene Simmons was the singer for T-Rex?
Would we still have Buick MacKane?
What if Gene Simmons could ride a T-Rex?
Would we all go insane?

Well that's OK, there's not enough hours in the day
Well that's OK, I don't care what you say
And that's OK, it doesn't matter anyway
Hey hey hey

What if Marc Bolan was the singer for Kiss?
Would we still have X in Sex?
